Since its relocation to Senai International Airport in Johor, Malaysia in 2001, FRAS has continued to grow as a premier general aviation flying club in the region. While originally offering light sport aircraft flight training, FRAS has since streamlined its focus to deliver high-quality private pilot training exclusively on the trusted and proven Piper PA28-161 aircraft.

In addition, the club provides immersive Discovery Flights (Flight Experience) on both the Piper PA28-161 and Piper PA28R-200. Offering aspiring aviators and aviation enthusiasts an unforgettable introduction to the world of flight.

Capt. Ranjit Singh, brother of the late Capt. Gurcharan Singh, now leads FRAS Flying Club with a strong sense of responsibility and vision for the future. As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director, he plays a pivotal role in upholding the operational integrity and instructional excellence that FRAS is known for.

Capt. Ranjit Singh currently serves as:

With a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) held since 2010, Capt. Ranjit Singh combines his aviation experience with business leadership to ensure FRAS continues to meet the highest standards in safety, training, and maintenance oversight.

Capt. Singh, founder of FRAS Flying Club, was a visionary who dedicated his life to advancing general aviation in Malaysia. With a passion for flying and a commitment to excellence, he built FRAS from the ground up, shaping it into one of the most respected flying clubs in the country.
