PPL (HELICOPTER) flight syllabus
GH Dual - 24.0 hours
GH Solo - 5.0 hours
Instrument flying - 1.0 hours
Navigation dual - 5.0 hours
Navigation solo - 5.0 hours
Total - 40.0 hours

RPPL (AEROPLANE) flight syllabus
GH Dual - 15.5 hours
GH Solo - 8.5 hours
Instrument flying - 2.0 hours
Navigation dual - 2.5 hours
Navigation solo - 1.5 hours
Total - 30.0 hours
Night Flying
Dual - 5.0 hours


*This is conducted only for club members who have PPL and will be flown with the club instructors.


 
Note : For costing of flying hours, groundschool and other expenses,
        please call the club directly for costing.

Ground school

1. Prior to commencement of flying, the club requires its members to undergo a 2-days introductory ground school to cover the relevant subjects. This will ensure that its members are knowledgeable with aircraft systems, ATC and club procedures. This is conducted on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month and attendance is compulsory before flight training can commence. For more information, please contact the club.

DCA Ground Examination

1. The club conducts a 4-day DCA examination preparation prior to the actual test date which normally falls on a Saturday. The preparation will include radio practical and sample test questions with the instructor explaining the answers.
   
2. It will facilitate for the DCA examiner to come to the club once every 2-3 months to conduct the ground examination. The passing marks for the various subjects are stated below.
